Instax MINI 12 is another update to the most popular instant camera. The changes affected the appearance: the camera has become more rectangular, although in general it retains the rounded features of its predecessors. The controls have been slightly redesigned: now the camera is turned on by turning the ring on the lens; turning it also turns on the short-distance shooting mode (for macro or handheld selfies) - this is more convenient. When you turn on the macro mode, parallax correction occurs in the viewfinder: in other words, the frame in the viewfinder now more accurately shows the boundaries of the real image.
Otherwise, the camera is the same as the Instax Mini 11: exposure and flash power are set automatically (the optical sensors are moved closer to the center of the body so you can't accidentally cover them with your fingers while shooting). All you have to do is aim using the viewfinder or selfie mirror and then press the shutter. The shutter button is located in such a way that it is easy to press no matter which direction the camera is facing.
How to take photos? It's very simple.
If there is no paper in the camera, open the back door and charge the Instax mini cartridge (align the orange mark on the cartridge with the mark on the body).
The batteries are charged from the side, without them the camera does not work (2 AA pieces, included)
Rotate the lens ring to the ON position to turn on the camera.
Wait a few seconds to charge the flash. If the light above the lens is on, the camera is ready.
Aim through the viewfinder and press the shutter.
For the photo to fully develop, you need to wait about 1.5 minutes. It is advisable that direct sunlight does not fall on the photograph during development.
To turn off the camera, turn the ring back to the OFF position.
How to take a selfie?
Turn the lens ring to the CLOSE-UP position.
Turn the camera towards you.
To aim, use the mirror next to the lens.
Press the trigger.
Share photos with friends and family, decorate your things and rooms with them, send them by mail (yes, real mail), come up with your own use. Live brightly, each photo is unique and inimitable!
